Denver-based dubstep artist THRESH discovered my work on Instagram and asked me to create a visual identity for his music and merchandise. He envisioned something dark and gritty, inspired by underground cartoonist Al Columbia—blending vintage rubber-hose animation with modern, macabre themes.

I designed a custom masked cartoon figure in that style, which became the core of his branding. From there, I expanded the system into album covers, merchandise (stickers, posters, apparel), short-form video content, and experimental animations for promotion.

The result gave THRESH a bold and cohesive aesthetic that set him apart in the crowded digital music scene while aligning with the surreal tone of his sound. The character has since become a recognizable fixture across his platforms and live performances, helping strengthen fan engagement and build a distinctive artistic identity.
